Artist's Description

'Fear of Indifference' is part of a brand new series entitled, 'Fear of Idleness', all five are oil on linen, 22"x18".
Singer/songwriter John Cale in 1974 sang, Fear's a Man's Best Friend, and in 1990 inspired me to tackle five small paintings bearing "Fear" in their titles. These were the 1st of many more batches painted since, all in collections in Monaco, Paris, Grenoble, Italy, California, NYC, etc. For the 1st time, this batch of five encounter my own fears. Idleness remains its theme due to my enduring an art studio hunt in my new home, Miami FL, since 2020.
