Artist's Description

'Fear of Idleness' is the centerpiece of a brand new series of self same title, all five are oil on linen, 22"x18". The painting was decided to be a granite blue grey entity or suggested abstract sculpture, vertically centered on the canvas, surrounded by white bleeding off on both sides.
Singer/songwriter John Cale in 1974 sang, Fear's a Man's Best Friend, and in 1990 inspired me to tackle five small paintings bearing "Fear" in their titles. Idleness remains its theme due to my enduring an art studio hunt in my new home, Miami FL, since 2020.
